I’ve been fortunate to contribute to several remarkable projects that didn’t quite fit within the traditional militaria and military
antiques lane. To give those collaborations a proper home, I created Black Dog Historical - a dedicated space for the unexpected, the collaborative, and the historically inspired. It’s where past projects live and future ideas will grow.
Since 2024, I have served as a consultant providing subject‑matter expertise on military uniforms, equipment and armament from the mid‑1800s to the present. My work supported a specialized assignment and included producing detailed research products, sourcing original artifacts and high‑quality reproductions, and preparing exhibit plans aligned with the project’s objectives. I also developed cost estimates and budgets for multiple components.
Throughout the project, I responded quickly to changing requirements and consistently delivered accurate, first‑rate work with efficiency and reliability.
I served as a consultant for Artistry in Motion on this project, providing specialized support throughout its development. Additional details will be shared following the grand opening in 2027.
War Department Archives is a subscription-based research platform launched in February 2026 that gives researchers worldwide access to digitized World War II War Department records. The platform serves historians, genealogists and military researchers by providing remote access to thousands of organizational files, personnel documents and archival materials.
In 2025, ahead of launch, I managed a multi-platform social media campaign to build awareness, demonstrate key features and highlight sample records available through the service. I was also responsible for creating imagery used in content and advertising. After launch, I prepared weekly status reports for the founders and delivered insights on user trends and subscriber feedback through social listening and survey analysis. I also crafted and released frequent social media posts and imagery across multiple platforms to promote subscriptions and showcase newly added material.
